No Man's Land

I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

Ed Norton is on a role roll, folks:

Edward Norton says his latest role as an arrogant British doctor out to change the world is a little like today's America.

"In fact, the United States today keeps on making the same sort of mistakes," Norton was quoted as saying by the Chinese-language newspaper Shanghai Morning Post.

"We force those methods we think are useful on a few countries, hoping to make a few changes. The good thing is that, in the movie, I realize my mistakes in the end," the 36-year-old actor said in the interview, published Friday. (Source.)

Yet another arrogant leftist steps into the spotlight on a foreign stage to say those famous words: "The US is comprised of arrogant asses."  Honestly, bashing this country should be so 2003 to these folks at this point, but they all seem hell-bent to get attached to anti-Americanism, as though it will be too late to do so in another year.  Or, in another light, as though being able to slam the US somehow means one has made it in the entertainment world.

It is funny watching the Streisands, Paltrows, and Nortons of the world in a rush to ditch their biggest/original market in front of the world.  The irony of rich people gathering to bite the hand that fed them is too profound to do complete justice to.  Bon voyage, losers.

It'll never happen here.

When asked why they opposed gay "marriage" last spring, many conservative trotted out the "polygamy and farm animals" response, subjecting them to guffaws and derogatory  remarks.  "As if," snorted the left, and that was that.

Or was it?  It seems that our EUroBuddies are doing exactly that.  So, the question is, were the left's protests fake or is this just the natural progress of cultural decline in the wake of artificially expanded definitions of marriage?  And yet so few are willing to admit the truth.

Corpses on parade.

It looks like the Chinese have succeeded in turning corpses of political prisoners into a globetrotting freak show, debutting in Tampa. 

As if China's human rights abuses weren't enough, should they be able to sell the bodies of their victims to a psychotic doctor who will take them all over the world like so many hunting trophies.

With all due respect, is there no government agency that will step in to protect the human dignity in death of the victims of our enemies?
